Parklands Farm
About Our Farm
Parklands Farm is a mixed farm, growing combinable crops alongside a commercial flock of sheep.
The land has been farmed by the same family for over 100 years and is currently managed by mother-son team, Christy and Hew Willett.
The farming business is highly environmentally conscious. We are committed to improving the ecosystem through soil regeneration, increasing biodiversity and reducing our carbon footprint.
Parklands Farm Dog Field
We're excited to be able to offer Galleywood's first safe and secure dog field, 3 acres of fenced meadow grassland with views across aesthetic farmland.
Located 5 minutes from the A12 and near Chelmsford City centre, Parklands Farm offers dog walkers a chance to exercise their dogs off the lead in a quiet and safe environment on their own or with friends.
Our Produce
Grass fed, slow grown lamb
Our flock of purebred ewes graze outside all year round, allowing them to exhibit natural characteristics in a free-range environment.
Their 100% pasture-based diet from meadows of herbs and wildflowers in the spring, summer and autumn months results in a fantastic nutrient rich meat.
During the winter they graze on forage crops specifically selected to improve soil health, whilst providing a balanced diet.
Our lamb is available to purchase in season from July to October. Click below for more information and to join our mailing list for regular updates.
